ABOUT US

Who We Are

As a small family owned and operated business, we are committed to quality and customer satisfaction. We have been supplying premium waterproof wood inlaid rings, watches and jewellery to customers across the globe since 2004 with a portion of each sale benefitting environmental initiatives.

 So who are we?

Ché Garcia -Founder

Originally from Oregon, USA, Ché moved to the Big Island of Hawai'i in 2003 and found work as a carpenter. Within weeks he fell in love with the islands, its native woods and a woman who would later become his wife. It was these three events that inspired the creation of a Hawaiian Koa wood inlaid wedding ring. Being an avid waterman and surf photographer, Ché spent a lot of time in the ocean and wanted a unique ring that was not only comfortable, waterproof and durable but represented his new home, love for woodwork and his Hawaiian born wife. At the time, a durable wood inlaid ring designed for daily wear in an active lifestyle did not exist. Determined to create such a ring, Ché utilized his woodworking skills and developed the rings we offer today.

After many years of business supporting environmental charities in Hawai'i and California, Ché recognized there was potential for his products to help protect native forests everywhere. In 2019, Ché moved his family to South Australia to pursue these opportunities and develop a business model to increase awareness and raise funds for native forest initiatives across the globe.

Perfect wedding rings

We ordered two as our wedding bands - one 4cm for the bride and one 8cm for the groom. Both are just perfect. The quality is really good.

Hawaiian Koa Wood Wide Titanium Ring

Now that you ask

I have been married for 20yrs and my gold ring had been getting tighter. I have been looking at different options and when we were at the Volcano Park on the big island I really liked the Kowa rings. They didn't have my size so when I got back to Atlanta I ordered one. Was so excited to get it and shipping was much faster than expected, but when my ring arrived it had horizontal grain. Every one at the park and every one online had the more distinguished dark vertical grain. I know from my years working in an art studio that the horizontal would last longer than the vertical due to the grain expansion and acrylic.
Great product and I may would get another in the vertical grain if something happens to this one.
Happy with what I have just not what I thought it was going to look like.

Stylish

This is a really stylish item of jewellery. My wife loved it and it’s great to know that the purchase is helping a very worthwhile cause.

my partner's new favorite thing

the contrast of the gold, titanium, and wood gives the ring a beautiful depth. it is light and comfortable and the engravings are clear. my partner won't stop raving and bragging about all the little details
